Radisson SAS launches UK and Ireland websites
Radisson SAS has developed websites specifically for the UK and Ireland as part of a strategy to focus on national distribution and drive direct online business in these markets.
The new websites – www.radissonsas.co.uk and www.radissonsas.ie – use the same template as the international site www.radissonsas.com.
A spokeswoman for the group said this template does not allow for a dedicated section for agents, an initiative taken by some other hotel chains.
“There are plans to develop the sites further later in the year but whether or not there will be an agent dedicated section I don’t know,” she said.
Christian Gartmann, area vice president UK and Ireland for Rezidor SAS Hospitality, said: “This gives us the opportunity to capitalise on the current market trend and drive business through our own channels.”
