Radisson Hotel Group is growing its Thailand footprint with a new Bangkok hotel.

It signed Radisson Hotel Ploenchit Bangkok, formerly known as the Chateau de Bangkok, a 133-key contemporary upscale hotel.

The property is situated only 400 metres from the US Embassy and just moments from Ploenchit BTS skytrain station.

It plans more hotels in Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, and Pattaya.

“Bangkok is a hugely important market where we already have seven hotels in operation,” said David Nguyen, MD, Indochina and Strategic Partnerships.

“The addition of the new Radisson Hotel Ploenchit Bangkok will revitalise the hospitality scene further.”

The new Bangkok hotel is expected to open in 2024.

The property will undergo significant renovations.

Rooms and suites range from 30 to 93 square metres and will offer Radisson’s Brilliant Basics program with signature bedding and state-of-the-art amenities.

In addition, the hotel will have extended stay serviced apartments with a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchenette.

Hotel amenities will include an all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre and outdoor pool.

Event spaces include a 187-square metre ballroom.
