Raffles builds its brand in Bali
BALI – In a further boost to confidence in Bali, Raffles Hotels & Resorts has started construction on its new property above Dreamland beach in Jimbaran.
Raffles Jimbaran is scheduled to open in 2010 with 84 villas, and 21 Raffles Residences.
The property is being developed together with PT Asia Pasifik Properti, a subsidiary of Rekso Group.
Raffles Jimbaran is built to resemble a water palace, with inspiration drawn from classical Javanese-Hindu architecture and style, characterised by open spaces, water features and walled courtyards on rising terraces.
The centrepiece of the water palace forms the resort’s lobby. Perched above a terrace, it overlooks the resort’s water gardens, pavilions and villas.
