Ramada Hotels tees up partnership with New Zealand PGA
Ramada Hotels has inked an agreement to become the official accommodation provider for the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of New Zealand.
The three-year partnership gives the PGA of NZ preferential rates at hotels in the country which include Ramada Resorts and Ramada Suites in Auckland, Queenstown, Rotorua and Wanaka.
Ramada will also give bonus prize money to the PGA Order of Merit winner and will support the PGA’s NO EXCEPTIONS programme for coaching golfers with disabilities.
It will also sponsor the South Island Legends Tour.
"This announcement showcases our support for the New Zealand golfing community, golf programmers and all the aspiring PGA touring professionals. The partnership unites our managed and franchised hotels and resorts in a move that we believe will raise the profile of our Ramada brand while providing the golfing community with quality lodging whilst on tour," said Matt Taplin, SVP of resort operations and property development at Wyndham Hotel Group South East Asia.
Ramada currently has 62 hotels open in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim.
