Rank and TBI shares impress

Travel and tourism shares experienced few movements of any consequence yesterday as London’s equity markets made steady progress.

 

The FTSE 100 index gained 18.2 points to end the day at 4486.7, while the FTSE 250 had a similar day, adding 25.2 points to close at 6188.2.

 

There were few drastic price movements; however, Rank added an impressive 11.75p to close at 298.75p, and TBI finished at 68.25p, up 3p on the day.
