Rank shares “worth holding on to”
Tuesday was a largely quiet day for travel and tourism shares as London’s main equity indices endured a stagnant session.
The FTSE 100 index gained just 3.9 points to end the day at 4575.7, while the broader-based FTSE 250 dropped 8.4 points to close at 6362.2.
The biggest move came at Rank Group, which dropped 12p to close at 325.75p. The Guardian attributes the fall to a cautious statement at the company’s AGM but the Telegraph’s Questor column advises that the shares are still worth holding on to.
