Rapid Travel brand to disappear
Telewest Travel has integrated Rapid Travel Solutions into the core brand.
Telewest Travel, which supplies broadband communications, bought Rapid Travel Solutions in 2001. As a result of the integration, Rapid and its Travel Trader products no longer exist under a separate name, and all business is conducted through Telewest Travel.
The Rapid products and services have been integrated into the Endeavour suite and the operational teams incorporated.
Telewest Travel head of product development, Lawrence Hunt said: “It makes sense to join up the brands by name as well as by product and I’m sure that both sets of customers will find that the new Endeavour platform delivers significant benefits.”
Telewest head of sales & marketing, Keith Webber said: “The integration of the Rapid team and products into the Telewest Travel Division provides a fully integrated solution for the travel industry and delivers at lowest cost, a single supplier relationship for connectivity and applications”.
