Reglar elected Advantage president
Ickenham Travel boss Peter Reglar has been elected president of Advantage Travel Centres.
He beat off a challege from former Advantage board director Di Baker of Wellington Travel in a vote to elect a successor to Roger Smith who is standing down after 10 years.
Current vice-president Mr Reglar won almost two thirds of the vote by members.
Mr Reglar, who takes up the presidency of the independent agents’ consortium at its agm later in the year, said: “I see the result as a vote of confidence in the current board and the moves we are making towards establishing Advantage as a profit making organisation.”
