Renovated luxury St. Barth property offers guaranteed prices

The 14-suite, five-star property of Island Destinations in St. Barth is celebrating its $3 million renovation with a free night for anyone booking six days.

Prices start at $3,800 for a seven-night stay in a one-bedroom suite from 15 April through 15 December, the resort says. The price is guaranteed in US dollars, which is unusual and perhaps even unprecedented in the area. Costs are usually associated with the fluctuating Euro.

Guests receive free daily continental breakfasts. Newly renovated one-bedroom suites come with private plunge pool and a terrace.

After investing nearly a quarter of a million dollars per suite, the revamped accommodations at Carl Gustaf offer state-of-the-art appliances and furnishings.

The bathrooms and kitchens in each suite have been completely renovated to include stainless steel appliances and marble accents.

The private decks with plunge pools are screened by jasmine and palms to ensure privacy while also providing a panorama of sunset views.  Technology upgrades include fully equipped living rooms with an LCD flat screen television, DVD player, Wi-Fi internet connection, an iPod system and more.

The upscale property is the only on-island hideaway boasting a hillside position overlooking the main town, just minutes away from the sophisticated shops and restaurants of the island capital, while only a two-minute walk from the beach.

Guests also have access to the property’s exclusive yacht, the 52-foot Carl Gustaf III. This sleek ocean cruiser is available for transfers, sailing trips, deep sea fishing, or private island tours at an additional fee.

A Virtuoso and Signature Travel Network preferred luxury tour operator, Island Destinations, The Authority for Luxury Travel, is a well-known  tour operator, which features a collection of exclusive hotels, resorts and villas throughout Bermuda, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Mexico, French Polynesia, Fiji, Hawaii, Dubai and the Maldives.
