Rex to lease another Boeing 737
Regional carrier Rex Airlines is leasing another Boeing 737-800NG.
It inked a new Letter of Intent (LOI) for the jet.
Following the delivery of the two 737-800NGs in July and September, this aircraft will bring Rex’s 737 fleet to a total of ten.
The aircraft is expected to arrive in Australia next month and ready for service before the year-end peak period.
Rex Deputy Chairman, John Sharp, AM, said, “This aircraft will be the third of four aircraft to be added to Rex’s domestic fleet this financial year as Rex expands its network steadily.”
“Rex will bring to major cities a service that is reliable and affordable, delivered with true integrity.”
Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of 58 Saab 340 and soon to be 10 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 57 destinations.
