Ride malfunction leaves park guests hanging upside-down
Riders on a Pennsylvania amusement park ride were left hanging after a mid-ride malfunction. They were left suspended upside-down in the air on the Aero 360 ride at Kennywood Park.
“Maintenance staff responded, quickly brought the ride back to its designated rest position, and safely evacuated the riders,” Kennywood General Manager Mark Pauls said.
Three riders were taken to the park’s first aid center as a precaution. The ride remains closed while a safety review is carried out.
