River cruise line cuts second passenger rates

Thursday, 06 Mar, 2009 0

Second passengers are being offered half price deals on European river cruises.

The incentive to attract cruise-only bookings by March 13 is being made by Peter Deilmann River Cruises on selected spring sailings.

A 50% discount for a second passenger on a seven-night Rhine cruise from Amsterdam on March 21 brings the cost down to a lead-in of £579, when the first passenger pays the full rate of £1,165.

Managing director Stuart Perl said: “These spring offers are excellent value for money for couples looking to enjoy Europe before the summer crowds.”
