Rotana builds presence in Middle East
DUBAI – Rotana, the Middle East and North Africa hotel management company, is growing its footprint in the region by opening its first Centro Hotels in September.
The Centro Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and the Centro Barsha in Dubai will launch Rotana’s business hotel brand focusing on contemporary styling and rates that will attract the budget-conscious executive.
Centro Yas Island is close to Abu Dhabi’s Formula One racetrack and The Links golf course.
The 246-room Centro Barsha is located close to the business districts of Dubai’s Media City and Internet City.
Rotana is working towards the opening of 25 Centro properties across the Middle East by 2014.
Rotana expects to expand it entire portfolio to 67 properties by 2010 as a result of new management agreements signed by the company.
Last year Rotana opened the 30-storey Arjaan Dubai Media City, its first property under the newly launched brand, Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana.
