Rough landing brings lawsuit
Passengers forced to dodge flying baggage during a rough landing in the Caribbean filed a $10 million class-action lawsuit against a Skyservice Airlines charter flight.
“I thought my life was over,” said passenger Linda Maggisano.
Other passengers said they were thrown around the plane “like rag dolls. “They described the landing as a “near death experience.”
The plan landed in Punta Cana, a resort destination in the Dominican Republic.
While landing, the plane bounced off the runway three times before coming to a stop.
Passengers claim they suffered bruising, nervous shock and emotional distress, among other ailments.
