Rugby player suspended for behaviour on flight
Gavin Henson has apologised after his behaviour on a Flybe flight led to his rugby club suspending him.
The ex-Welsh international player who also recently appeared on TV’s The Bachelor, was allegedly throwing ice cubes at passengers on an early morning flight on Saturday.
He was returning to Cardiff from Glasgow after his Cardiff Blues side lost against the Glasgow Warriors.
Henson, who has two kids with ex Charlotte Church, said: "I’d like to apologise for drinking on that flight. I’d been drinking in Glasgow on Friday following our game against Glasgow Warriors and stupidly carried on drinking on the flight, for which I’m truly embarrassed."
The Cardiff Blues management team is to meet today to discuss the matter further.
