Ryanair adds five new routes at Newcastle
Low cost carrier Ryanair is adding five new routes at Newcastle Airport and will be a third aircraft there.
It will station another Boeing jet at its Newcastle base starting winter 2025/26, which will enable the launch of the new routes.
The new winter routes are Brussels, Budapest, Gdańsk, Malta, and Wrocław.
Additionally, Ryanair also boosted capacity to key destinations including Alicante, Dublin, and Kraków.
“It’s fantastic news that Ryanair have committed to further investment in the region with the addition of a third based aircraft and five exciting new winter routes,” said Newcastle Airport’s COO Richard Knight.
The expansion at Newcastle will generate about 30 new pilot and cabin crew jobs.
