Ryanair breaks November record
Ryanair saw a 6% increase in passenger numbers last month, a record for November, when it sold 5.2 million tickets.
Its sales during the month pushed its annual passenger numbers for the year to the end of November up to 81.2 million, a 2% year-on-year increase.
The budget carrier’s load factor rose from 80% to 81% for the month.
Spokesman Robin Kiely said this was the first time Ryanair had carried over 81 million passengers in a 12 month period.
