Ryanair launches new app
Ryanair has launched its long-awaited new app, which customers can use to book flights, select seats, add baggage, check in and download mobile boarding passes.
Available for iPhone and Android phones, the app also displays live flight information and additionally passengers can use it to book hotels and car hire.
It’s available free from the iTunes App Store and from Google Play Store or Ryanair.com. Chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs said passengers could expect regular app updates.
He added: "Our ‘Always Getting Better’ programme has delivered better services, more choice and enhanced inflight and digital experiences for our customers and we look forward to making further improvements for the 84m people who will fly with us this year."
