Ryanair says ‘that will do nicely’

Friday, 26 Sep, 2013 0

Ryanair’s latest attempt to make itself more appealing to business travellers and corporate travel departments is to accept payment by American Express.

The airline claimed more than a fifth of its passengers are travelling on business and that it has made further improvements to its services to meet their needs.

This includes online check-in, priority boarding, reserved seating, a 10kg cabin bag allowance, scrapping the €3 fee for the Ryanair app and the removal of the Recaptcha security feature for individual passengers from October 30.

Ryanair is also rolling out a digital marketing strategy, including a new Twitter account, which it said would enhance the business travel experience.

Passengers who pay by Amex will be charged a 2% fee, the same as for other credit card payments.
