Ryanair set to take delivery of first Boeing Max jet
Ryanair will finally get its hands on its first Boeing Max jet in the coming days. It follows a delay of two years due to the aircraft’s global grounding.
Ryanair group CEO Michael O’Leary told CNBC TV it will receive its first Max soon. The airline is the biggest Max customer in Europe with firm orders for more than 200.
It is a ‘game changer aircraft,’ O’Leary says, despite its many problems in the past. The troubled aircraft was approved to return to the skies a few months ago although some countries have still not yet approved its return to service.
