Ryanair shareholders to get nearly 400m euros from Aer Lingus sale
Ryanair will distribute the €398 million it got from the sale of its 29.8% stake in Aer Lingus to its shareholders.
The amount will be handed out via a ‘B’ Share programme which will be concluded, subject to EGM approval, before December.
The airline said this brings the total funds returned by Ryanair to shareholders this year to €800m and more than €3.3bn since 2008.
At its AGM in Dublin this morning, Ryanair also briefed shareholders on further improvements under its ‘Always Getting Better’ programme.
