Ryanair to add base in the Azores
Ryanair is launching a new weekly flight from London Stansted to the Azores in April.
It is one of three new routes being added from the Azores, where the airline will base one 737-800 aircraft.
The others are Lisbon (twice daily) and Porto (daily).
Ryanair said it is also in discussions with the Azores Government about possible services to Terceira and additional international flights to the islands.
The routes start on April 15 but go on sale today.
Fares of €29.99 one-way for travel in April, May and June are available for booking until midnight Monday (December 8).
