Sabre acquires UK e-commerce provider Techsembly
Sabre Corporation has announced the acquisition of UK based hospitality e-commerce provider Techsembly.
Techsembly offers automated e-commerce solutions for hotels to manage multiple online property stores, products, and logistics.
In addition to its marketplace, Techsembly offers gift cards for hoteliers.
“Sabre’s agreement with Techsembly reaffirms our position as a leading global hotel commerce and distribution platform,” said Scott Wilson, president of Sabre Hospitality.
“It enables us to offer the most robust and effective suite of integrated retailing.”
Sabre Hospitality’s SynXis Retail Studio enables hoteliers to retail an unlimited number of products and services with room reservations.
The travel acquisition results in more opportunities for additional revenue streams beyond rooms.
“Joining Sabre will allow us to expand and offer game-changing technology and increase our reach ” said Amy Read, CEO of Techsembly. ”
As part of the transaction, Sabre will onboard Techsembly’s e-commerce and developer team.
As well as the UK, Techsembly has offices in Singapore and Hong Kong.
