Sabre confirms new Middle East chief
Sabre has confirmed that Daniel Naoumovitch will spearhead its Middle East operation after five months as acting chief executive.
The division was formed in February as a joint venture between Sabre and Gulf Air in a move that replaced a 16-year marketing agreement between the two companies.
Naoumovitch, who will be responsible for 11 countries in the region, said the focus will be reinforcing its manpower, helpdesks, training, technical support and the development of latest technologies.
“Since the official launch of Sabre Travel Network Middle East five months ago we have sought to strengthen our position in the market by deploying the most appropriate resources within all parts of the Sabre business,” he said.
