Sabre controls 90% of CLIA inventory
With the addition of all Costa cruises, Sabre Travel Network now offers a dozen cruise lines or 90% of CLIA’s cabin inventory, the company says.
“The varied offerings will allow agents to provide even more customer service and give them greater revenue potential,” says a Sabre spokesperson.
Costa’s offerings include its signature “Italian Style” cruises aboard a fleet of ten ships sailing for the Caribbean and other areas.
Features of the Sabre CruiseDirector product used to book Costa Cruises include easy-to-use graphical interfaces and multi-cruise sailing availability on one screen. “At-a-glance” booking and price display summaries are also part of the system.
The Sabre GDS connects hundreds of airlines and thousands of hotels with more than 50,000 travel agency locations. Agents get real time access to various travel products from one source.
