Sabre Corp offers pre-funded virtual payments for corporate travel
Sabre Corp has announced the launch in North America of a pre-funded virtual payment option for travel buyers, teaming up with corporate payment services provider Conferma.
This is an enhancement to Sabre Virtual Payments which it rolled out earlier this year, and allows travel buyers to fund their own cards without the need to set up an additional line of credit with their bank.
Pre-funded virtual payments can be used by customers in the GetThere corporate booking platform which integrated with Sabre Virtual Payments in March.
"Innovation that improves business processes is a priority for corporate travel managers and travel management companies. Adopting virtual cards to automate the payment and reconciliation process saves time, reduces hassle, and cuts costs. And the addition of a pre-funded option to our existing software suite is yet another way to improve the process," said Wade Jones, senior vice president of marketing and strategy for Sabre Travel Network.
Sabre Virtual Payments and the new pre-fund option will be showcased at the Sabre Connect 2015 customer summit in Las Vegas on June 2-4.
