Sabre Travel Network announced the Travel Impressions packaged vacation inventory is now available to US agents through Sabre Vacations.

Sabre Vacations is a private-label version of Trisept Solutions VAX VacationAccess. The addition of Travel Impressions brings the number of tour operators offered through Sabre Vacations to 18.

Travel Impressions is one of the largest tour operators in the country.

Sabre will now be able to offer travel agents leisure vacation packages to over 150 destinations and 1,100 resorts and hotels worldwide.

Sabre Holdings reported the leisure travel segment continues to grow.

Leisure traveler spending is expected to go from $127 billion in the US and Canada in 2002 to over $150 billion by 2006, according to Sabre research.

Tour packages are also continuing to grow. They represented 30% of offline leisure agency sales in 2003, compared with only 15% in 1996.
