Sabre Pacific’s new man at the helm
Abacus International has appointed Jeremy van de Klundert as managing director of subsidiary, Sabre Pacific for Australia and New Zealand.
Van de Klundert has served in similar roles, including five years with global distribution systems in Europe, three with a major travel agency and more recently five heading global assistance company, International SOS, in developing North Asia.
Brett Henry, vice president – commercial for Abacus, said, "Jeremy brings to the business the insight to develop core and adjacent market strategies, as we continue to build out with new content and platforms across the Pacific."
Sabre Pacific’s current distribution grid includes travel buyers at more than 2,000 agency locations, supported from the company’s Sydney headquarters and local Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland offices.
