Sacramento knows how to throw a party, and its no surprise it’s a top draw for festivalgoers.

Get down to the state capital and get ready to taste, and rock your way through Sacramento’s epic festival season.

From now through October, Sacramento’s line-up guarantees happening weekends for all.

 

10th Anniversary of Farm-to-Fork Festival, 7-23 September 

Celebrating its 10th year, Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival celebrates the region’s food and agriculture, introducing the chefs, farmers, ranchers, vintners and brewers. The festival pairs good music with great food every year, and 2023 will be no different. Local chefs such as Sean Rumery, Craig Takehara, and Rebecca Campbell will share their knowledge and tasty food. Musicians such as Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals and Cannons will be performing in free concerts on Sacramento’s Capitol Mall.

 

Legends of Wine, 7 September 

As part of the Farm-to-Fork Festival, the regions many wineries and vineyards are celebrated at the Legends of Wine tastings. Forty wineries set up in front of the State Capitol, and welcome visitors to sample delicious wine from across the region. There are selections of cheese and other bites to go with them.

 

Aftershock Festival, 5-8 October

Aftershock is the West Coast’s biggest rock festival celebrating the best of rock, punk and metal music. This year’s headliners are the legendary Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, and Korn. It will be Aftershock’s biggest year yet as 95 bands join the headliners for the four-day festival. It includes Godsmack, Pantera, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth and many more.

 

Golden Sky, 14-15 October

Calling all country music fans, Golden Sky festival is the ideal weekend for fans to enjoy some good old country. It is headlined by Jon Pardi, Maren Morris, Eric Church, and Parker McCollum. Golden Sky is much more than a country music festival: Perfect your line dancing moves in the River City Saloon, and enjoy food from some of Sacramento’s best restaurants at The Farm House.
