Saga Holidays names new MD for Destinology
Saga Holidays has appointed Debbie Windle as MD of Destinology with immediate effect.
She has held a number of key management roles within Saga Holidays and the wider Saga Group.
In 2006, Windle was appointed as the head of finance for Saga Holidays. During this time, she was part of the team that acquired Titan and Destinology and led the management buyout of Grandstand.
At the start of 2016, she set up a transformation team for travel, to align people, systems and processes to ensure that the business was in the best shape to deliver against its strategic objectives and growth targets, becoming director of Transformation and Change at the beginning of 2017.
Jeannette Linfoot, MD of Saga Tour Operations Division, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for Debbie and a real recognition of her significant achievements working across the Tour Operations Division.
"Debbie’s promotion is also a great example of how we invest in our people and demonstrate talent management that genuinely helps our employees develop strong and rewarding careers."
