Saga signs IHG for short breaks

Saga Holidays has signed InterContinental Hotels Group as exclusive hotel provider to its short breaks programme in a multi-million pound deal.
The three year agreement will see IHG offer more then 2.5 million Saga travellers competitive room rates and food and drinks discounts in over 200 Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels across the UK and Ireland.
Saga will notify its over-50s customers of the new partnership through a direct marketing and email integrated campaign.
IHG UK and Ireland commercial vice-president Jane Bednall said: “The Saga deal is testament to the strength and quality of our brands and will help us continue to grow our leisure guest base in 2010.”
Saga Holidays CEO Susan Hooper said: “This new partnership is excellent news for Saga Holidays customers when they holiday in the UK and Ireland for short breaks.”
