Sail in Greece hails surge in UK trade bookings
Sail in Greece says it is seeing a spike in bookings from the UK travel trade.
In 2023, only 22% of Sail in Greece’s UK bookings were made via travel agents.
This figure rose to 29% in 2024.
Now, in a significant shift, 64% of UK bookings in 2025 are coming directly from travel agents.
This leap in trade partnerships has been fuelled by the efforts of the team at Galaxi, who exclusively represent Sail in Greece in the UK and Ireland.
Through strategic B2B initiatives, targeted outreach, and training support, Galaxi has played a key role in building strong agent engagement and confidence in the brand.
“It’s been great to see the response and support from the trade for Sail in Greece, and we plan to reach even more agents this year and beyond,” said Craig Vickors, co-founder at Galaxi.
“The travel trade has become the backbone of our UK growth. Agents have seen the quality of our product firsthand, and their confidence has translated into remarkable booking numbers,” Sail In Greece said.
As a direct response to demand, Sail in Greece is scaling up its operations for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The company is expanding its fleet and introducing new itineraries.
