Sandals showcases reimagined Sandals Royal Bahamian
Sandals Resorts International (SRI) unveiled details of its reimagined all-inclusive resort in Nassau, Bahamas, the all-new Sandals Royal Bahamian.
Following a multi-million-dollar transformation, it opens the hotel, spa and private island for the winter season beginning 27 January, 2022
“We’re dialing up the luxury and leaning into the easy-going spirit of The Bahamas to deliver an authentic experience that as we like to say, makes love come easy,” said SRI Executive Chairman Adam Stewart. ”
It has been in the works for nearly three years and part of a much larger strategy across the organisation.
The reimagined Sandals Royal Bahamian will feature all-new suites and island village with the addition of the brand’s river suites in the freshly named East & West Bays.
It encompasses over 200 fully renovated rooms and suites.
The new pastel-coloured village was inspired by the Bahamian archipelago and features butler style villas, each named after an island in The Bahamas, with their own private pool.
A new addition to the property is Coconut Grove, an expansive lounge area with three new food trucks.
The resort’s secluded private island, Sandals Barefoot Cay features a beach bar and new restaurant, Aralia House, serving up fresh seafood.
In addition, Sandals Royal Bahamian introduces five new restaurants when it opens this winter including La Plume for French cuisine; a traditional British Pub The Queen’s Pearl; Kanoo for cuisine that celebrates the Caribbean region, Butch’s Island Chop House for hand-cut steaks, and fresh sushi eatery, Soy.
