Sapphire Holidays expands holiday let portfolio with Isle of Man acquisition

Manx holiday let operator Island Escapes has been acquired by Sapphire Holidays.

Island Escapes manages more than 150 holiday cottages and apartments across the Isle of Man.

In the coming weeks, these homes will be marketed within Sapphire’s Classic Cottages brand.

The new owner vowed to ‘significantly invest’ in the Isle of Man holiday market.

Island Escapes will remain in its Castletown, IoM office, retaining all staff.

The company is a corporate sponsor of the Manx Wildlife Trust and a partner of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.

It joins ‘Sapphire Holidays Ltd brands: Classic Cottages, Aspects Holidays, Boutique Retreats and Unique Hideaways.

Sapphire is based in Cornwall and manages a portfolio of about 2,500 holiday lets.
