Sarasota for foodies

Sarasota County’s culinary showcase has returned.
Savor Sarasota runs from June 1-14 for its 18th year, offering prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus.
Lunch menus will feature a two-course menu for $25 per person, and dinner menus will offer three courses for $40 per person.
Additionally, restaurants will be offering upgraded dishes, wine pairings, and wine flights to elevate the experience.
“Sarasota is home to some of the most amazing restaurants in Florida,” said Virginia Haley, VSC President.
“There is something for every gourmand: modern, traditional, and international cuisines.”
Diner can explore global cuisines, from Italian, classic French, Asian delicacies and more.
Originally created as Restaurant Week in 2006 by Visit Sarasota County, Savor Sarasota first launched with the goal of helping area restaurants flourish during the summer months.
It was designed to encourage locals and summer visitors to sample the diverse culinary offerings throughout Sarasota County.
