SAT maintains Galileo use after review
SAT Business Travel Management has signed a new agreement with Travelport GDS for continued use of its Galileo GDS platform following a competitive review.
The Bolton-based independent travel management company, a member of Advantage Travel Centres, has used the Galileo GDS platform for over 15 years.
Under the new agreement, Travelport GDS will provide SAT with its Galileo Desktop and Galileo Rail products, along with UK-based service and support.
SAT sales director Paul Sutton said: “We were in the fortunate position that, because of our success, we were being courted by a number of GDS suppliers. We evaluated all the options but opted, once again, for Travelport’s Galileo GDS.
“The products, technology and support available have been of a consistently high standard and we felt there was no need to take our business elsewhere.”
