School sports tour operator goes bust
School sports holiday operator and cricket tour specialist On the Ball Sports Marketing has ceased trading.
The London-based ATOL-registered company traded as On the Ball Sports and English Cricket Tours.
On the Ball Sports organised school sports trips for both players and spectators. It organised mainly cricket tours but also hockey, netball, football, tennis and golf trips. The company described itself on its website as ‘one of the fastest growing specialist operators for school tours’.
English Cricket Tours specialised in taking spectators to major cricket tournaments, including last week’s England v West Indies Tour.
The Civil Aviation Authority said it was collating information from the company and further details would be made available ‘in due course’.
