Schroeder to replace Imbardelli at PanPac
Bernold Schroeder will join Singapore-based Pan Pacific Hotels Group as CEO in January, replacing Patrick Imbardelli, who has resigned after more than five years with the company.
Schroeder, currently CEO of Jin Jiang International Hotel Management, will take over a privatised PPHG, a wholly-owned hotel subsidiary of Singapore-listed UOL Group, which now owns and/or manages more than 30 hotels, resorts and serviced suites across Asia, Oceania and North America under two brands, Pan Pacific and Parkroyal.
Imbardelli told TTG Asia e-Daily the timing was right for him to move on and let "a young man take the group to the next level".
He said he was taking a break and would look at opportunities "both inside and outside the industry" and would probably stay in in Asia "as that’s where my passion is".
