Second chance of life after ‘miracle’ treatment inspires new business
A new consultancy firm has launched during the Covid-19 pandemic to help car rental firms grow their business.

In 2018 Hall was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and was given around 12 months to live, but after a transplant in January 2019 he has been in remission.
"Now and again, miracles do happen and I have a second chance of life and I intend enjoying it and helping others in a business that I am excellent at," he said.
Now deemed highly vulnerable and not able to leave his home during the Covid-19 outbreak, Hall said it was the ideal time to launch his business, Autocarbookers.
"Companies today are short on staff and do not have the time to sit back and review what is going on in the industry, what new trends are available, how costs can be controlled using artificial intelligence and how margins can be increased," he said.
"During the pandemic more and more people will require help and staff numbers will decrease, meaning our support will be vital so I see a fantastic opportunity for this offer," he said.
The consultancy firm will help car rental companies, brokers, and OTAs and has already signed up four clients in Germany, Turkey, Morocco and Scotland.
The company launches with a team of four plus 40 developers in India who work on a contract basis.
