Sheraton Algarve to undergo winter re-vamp
The Sheraton Algarve is being extended to include new seventy-eight luxury suites, restaurant, health spa and underground parking.
The phased renovation, which will take place during the next three Winter seasons, will also include a re-vamp of rooms and public areas of the Pine Cliffs Resort hotel.
It also forms part of a new agreement between United Investments Portugal and global hotel operator, Starwood Hotels & Resorts with a 20-year extension to the existing management contract to operate the property under The Luxury Collection brand.
The work will start in November 2014, with the third and final phase completing by Spring 2017, in time for the hotel’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.
