Shopping incentive for Flight Centre
Flight Centre is handing out prize-winning scratchcards to staff who develop new business leads. The scratchcards offer agents the opportunity to win up to £150 in vouchers that can be spent at around 120 listed high street retailers. They are being given to staff at Corporate Traveller, the company’s business travel division, who receive one for identifying a new lead and another for converting the lead into a new customer. Launched at the start of April, the promotion is being organised by Capital Incentives, an incentive and motivation firm. According to business development manager, Ciaran Kelly the company has so far handed out one scrathcard since the incentive started on Monday, but says he anticipates the scheme being very popular. “We wanted something a bit more tangible to use on the high street. Plus friends and family can benefit, which is always popular,” he told TravelMole. Flight Centre’s Corporate Traveller has offices in 13 locations across London dealing with business travel for small and medium sized companies. Flight Centre was last month rated 14th in the Sunday Times “best companies to work for” listings, and together with Avis was the only travel company in the top 50. Report by Ginny McGrath
