Sidestep reaches six million

Sidestep Inc. announced that six million consumers have downloaded the Sidestep toolbar.

“Our audience of active travelers is large and growing fast, and we are planning to ramp this growth quickly in the second half of 2004,” said Brian Barth, CEO.

The fast-growing Sidestep search toolbar is available at www.sidestep.com. It’s new Web-based hotel and rental car search offerings are also available at that site.

The company’s services are free.

Sidestep has formed alliances with JetBlue Airways, Best Western International and Orbitz, among others.
