US online travel search company SideStep has recruited Rhys Jarvis from Hertz Europe as European business development director.
Formerly head of online marketing and strategy for the car rental firm, he will be responsible for maintaining and developing SideStep’s relationships with European airlines, as well as all advertising relationships. He will also look after marketing and relationships with strategic suppliers in Europe.
SideStep launched into the UK last September and claims to have achieved over 500,000 unique visitors a month.
SideStep president and CEO Rob Solomon said: “Rhys will be a great asset to the European team. His strategic online experience is extensive and will help build and expand SideStep in the European market.”
