Get invited to network with exotic new destinations at World Travel Market.
For the first time at the World Travel Market, tour operators and media will have the opportunity to meet with leading Silk Road destinations in a special networking event taking place on 10 November 2010.

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is working directly with over 25 countries to strengthen the Silk Road brand as a vehicle for sustainable tourism development across Europe, Eurasia, Asia/Pacific and the Middle East.
Current Silk Road countries include: Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, DPR Korea, Egypt, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
Tajikistan – roof of the world
Between them they offer the full range of tourism activities from mountain activities to beach holidays – all with a heavy lacing of authenticity and deep culture.
This represents a substantial opportunity for specialist tour operators and mass-market operators alike.
The destinations are being marketed under a single brand, thought to be one of the strongest, and certainly one of the oldest and most evocative, in the world.
The event is to be held in Platinum Suite 5 at WTM on Wednesday 10 November at 14.30 – 16.00
Vision on Sustainable Tourism has a limited number of invitations for the event.
