Silversea: going light
Silversea Cruises’ “Wellness Program” offering classes in nutrition and exercise activities is catering to health-conscious travelers.
“More and more, today’s affluent travelers are looking for a personal journey to wellness to complement their global adventures,” said David Morris, senior vice president of sales for North America.
Silversea guests enrolled in the program receive their own schedule daily. There are activities and seminars developed by fitness experts that include popular workouts such as aerobics, Pilates, circuit training and yoga. Participants also receive information on low-carbohydrate diets.
All of Silversea’s four all-suite ships have an elaborate Mandara Spa that features a large fitness center, aerobics studio, stair climbers and other exercise equipment.
