Silversea promotes senior sales staff
Trudy Redfern has been promoted by luxury cruise company Silversea to the role of senior vice president of sales and marketing and managing director of the line’s UK office.
Redfern will oversee the sales and marketing functions for the following regions: UK, Ireland and Middle East (including U.A.E., Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon). In addition, she will be in charge of all operational and administrative aspects of the London office.
Her promotion is part of a number if key management changes which include Steve Odell continuing to be based in Australia as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Asia and the Pacific.
Odell will also oversee a regional sales office in Singapore, while aggressively targeting Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and mainland China, according to the company.
Enrico Origone becomes senior vice president of sales and marketing for continental Europe while Marilyn Conroy is senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas.
All will report to Silversea’s executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing David Morris. Sergio Dell’Acqua, who continues as vice president of sales and marketing for emerging markets, will also report to Morris.
“These organisational enhancements will further define and strengthen our worldwide sales and marketing strategy,” said Morris.
