Singapore Airlines, SilkAir agree codeshare partnership with Fiji Airways
Singapore Airlines and its regional unit SilkAir have announced a codeshare partnership with Fiji Airways.
Under the agreement SIA and SilkAir customers can book through journeys on Fiji Airways’ non-stop flights between Singapore and Nadi, as well as connecting domestic flights via Nadi to Suva, Labasa, and Savusavu.
Likewise Fiji’s customers travelling to Asia and Europe can book through tickets via SIA’s Singapore hub to destinations in China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and the UK.
"We’re pleased to sign this codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir, which leverages the airline group’s impressive global distribution network and significantly grows our footprint across Asia and Europe, with some of these cities appearing on the Fiji Airways network for the very first time," said Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways’ CEO.
"We are confident that this codeshare agreement will allow more international travellers to experience the beauty of Fiji and the wider South Pacific region,"
The agreement is still pending regulatory approval.
