Singapore launches Sports Hub
Singapore has launched 62 executive hospitality suites as part of the new Singapore Sports Hub, claimed to be the first of its kind in southeast Asia.
The suites, which come with VIP privileges and private facilities, are priced from USD58,616 annually.
Companies will be able to lease the suites for either three or six years. Each suite will be able to accommodate between eight and 30 people, and can be customised.
The suites are managed and marketed by the World Sport Group, a sports marketing, media and event management company.
The Sports Hub will host regular sports events, including soccer, cricket, rugby and athletics, alongside major concerts. Some 140 events per year are expected to attract up to three million domestic and international visitors annually.
The Sports Hub’s centerpiece is the 55,000 National Stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2014.
