SiteMinder expands hotel commerce platform with GuestJoy acquisition
Hotel commerce platform SiteMinder announced it will acquire industry hotel guest engagement suite GuestJoy
GuestJoy is a cloud-based app that allows hoteliers to automate personalised, contactless guest communications before, during and after a stay.
The acquisition will be finalised this year.
It follows the launch of SiteMinder’s updated platform – an all-in-one platform that unifies channel management, distribution and booking engine with real-time insights, automated payments, and website-building.
GuestJoy will allow hoteliers to automate their guest communication, and strengthen direct guest acquisition.
“We are thrilled to announce the acquisition. GuestJoy is highly regarded within the hotel tech industry for its simple user experience, and integration capabilities,” Sankar Narayan, CEO of SiteMinder said.
GuestJoy was founded by Alar Ülem and Annika Ülem to make it simpler for hoteliers to communicate directly with their guests.
“We set ourselves the mission of designing GuestJoy to be very easy to use, using data-driven intelligence and automation,” said GuestJoy Co-founder Alar Ülem.
GuestJoy has been a SiteMinder Partner since 2017.
