Skal elects new president
Mok Singh, country manager US and Canada for Kenya Airways, has been elected president of Skal International, the global association for senior executives in tourism and travel.
The announcement was made at the recent 73rd Skal International World Congress, held in Seoul.
Singh was inaugurated in front of more than 500 worldwide delegates, representing all facets of the travel industry.
As President of Skal International, Singh’s goals are to increase the association’s membership and revenue, contain costs, encourage sustainable tourism practices, promote peace through tourism, protect children from exploitation in tourism, and position Skal as "the trusted voice in travel and tourism."
A longtime travel industry veteran, Singh is based in Los Angeles, where he heads operations, marketing and reservations in the US and Canada for Kenya Airways.
